Additional Contribution Toward Scholarships

Contributions are voluntary, and are greatly appreciated. Please consider contributing a little extra this year, as the site has increased their rates.

Scholarships

If you are an attender or member of a monthly meeting then before applying for a scholarship directly from New Years Gathering we ask that you first contact your meeting to ask for assistance with the registration/travel costs for NYG. Most monthly meetings are happy to sponsor young Friends to attend Quaker gatherings. If you are not a member or current attender or if your meeting cannot afford to help you with the registration costs then please specify how much scholarship aid you will need.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship is available for everyone; especially for those new to the Gathering, those who might want mentorship or guidance, and younger Friends. Sponsors are previous attendees of the Gathering who desire to create a special relationship with someone which helps them understand the Western Young Friends community and provides additional support as needed. Sponsors and sponsees can be of any age. For additional information contact the Registrar.
